About Me

Ilana Albert

I was born and raised in Israel and arrived to the Bay area with my family in 1996. I am married and mother of three children.

It was my dream to enrich the life of the young children in the Silicon Valley with the Israeli and Jewish heritage in a bilingual environment. I visited Israeli Educational institutions at least once a year with the purpose of updating my curriculum with the newest children literatures and educational programs.

Ktantanim Preschool opened its doors to the little ones on 2001. During that time I was privileged to become a part of many families in the valley, and sometimes teaching more than one family member. I take pride in the fact that these “little ones” (Ktantanim) keep in touch and still come with their families to visit.

ktantanim Preschool was closed on June 2014, due to our relocation back to Israel after 18 wonderful years in California. Ktantanim Kids was opened on September 2015 in Even Yehuda. We will continue with the same quality educational program that combines Developemntally appropriate practice and the wonderful Jewish Israeli Heritage for our young ones.
